The Phoenix Intensive Training Unit (ITU) is accessed through our School to Work Transition Program. This program has been specifically designed to provide further training to participants who haven’t quite met the requirements to work at Phoenix but have shown that they really want to work at Phoenix.
Participants in the ITU are employees of Phoenix and entitles to the same conditions as everybody else. The focus of the ITU training is to develop new skills, understand and interpret instructions and build confidence so you are able to move into a Phoenix work team in one of our facilities.
